Obama's First Decision: Family Dog...

Barack Obama's biggest decision is what dog to get for the White House. Obama has said that one of his daughters is allergic to dogs so the choice maybe difficult. He also said that he may get a "mutt" becauses he is a "mutt"...whatever that means. But then, Peru hears about the Obamas' difficulties and offered the family a Peruvian hairless dog, their national..umm..dog. Apparently it would be fitting as a Presidential pet because Incan kings used these dogs as pets as well.

Taiwan Accepts Panda Bears from China

So apparently Taiwan has decided to finally accept some panda bears from China. This has been highly controversial and will continue to evoke emotions from both parties. Some people have been paying protesters to throw eggs at the Chairman Chen of Taiwan. Equivalent of $300 USD for a hit on the face... hmm... LINK.

$25 Million Prize Money

Found Animals Foundation is offering $25 million for innovation in non-surgical sterilization for cats and dogs. And an additional $50 million ($75 million total) available for research. They also created what they call Alliance for Contraception in Cats and Dogs (ACC&D). The founder of the FAF is Gary Michelson and is one of Forbes' 400 Richest Americans at $1.3 billion. LINK.
